Description

The Swiss Mathematical Society and the University of Fribourg invite all graduate students and recent postdocs in mathematics from Swiss universities to a special one-day event offering a platform for presentations, discussions, and exchange of experiences.

Make new contacts with peers from all of Switzerland
Share your experiences and gain inspiration from others
Enjoy informal discussions during the coffee and lunch breaks
Learn about the benefits and support provided by the Swiss Mathematical Society

Information

Participants are encouraged to give a short (15 min) talk on their research topic
If there is sufficient interest, we will provide space for posters
Lunch will be provided to all participants
Travel costs will be refunded to speakers

Participants are kindly asked to register by filling out the following form, where they will be asked if they wish to give a talk and/or present a poster. Register here!

Location

The workshop will take place on the Perolles Campus of the University of Fribourg, where also the Department of Mathematics is located. The venue is the lecture room 2.52, inside the Department of Physics (PER 08 on the map).

Schedule

The schedule will be finalized in due time. We are planning the event to begin at 10:00 and end around 16:30.
